Welcome to
Discovery Point Terra Bella
At Discovery Point, we take pride in being at the forefront of child care. Our goal is to redefine daycare for our families and the children in our care. Our dedicated caregivers are not simply spending the day with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children; they are providing the formative educational experiences that will shape the way these young minds address the rest of their academic careers. Our early childhood teachers implement research-based curriculum and a child-centered instructional approach for every age and stage of development — it is not simply “daycare.”
Children have an innate sense of wonder and curiosity about the world. When encouraged, they can think creatively and gain the confidence they need to go out and change the world! At Discovery Point Terra Bella, we believe it’s never too soon to foster a thirst for knowledge and an appreciation for play through dynamic and engaging child care programs.

Meet the Owner
Discovery Point Terra Bella
Carmen and Roman Mesa opened Discovery Point #68 (Terra Bella) on March 29, 2010 after successfully running Discovery Point #47 (Trouble Creek) for three years. Today their school serves, with great passion and pride, over 200 families, some with their second child in their center. Carmen coming from the business sector and Roman from engineering and management, share a passion for children’s education and well-being. They have been married since 1980 and have six children of their own.
Prior to entering into the childcare industry they were licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families as foster parents and also in the past for Shepherd Care Services in South Florida. They fostered several babies and children ages 3 days to two years old and adopted three. Today they continue to provide quality education and care with an emphasis on social and emotional skills to enable children to succeed later in school and throughout their life.
