At Discovery Point, our goal is to redefine daycare for our families and the children in our care. Our dedicated caregivers are not simply spending the day with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children; they are providing the formative educational experiences that will shape the way these young minds address the rest of their academic careers. Our early childhood teachers implement research-based curriculum and a child-centered instructional approach for every age and stage of development — it is not simply “daycare.”

Meet the Owner
Discovery Point Bethelview
Since July of 2006, I have been the owner of Discovery Point Bethelview in addition to Discovery Point Suwanee. My name is Hows King, and my goal is to promote an environment where both teachers and children thrive in the pursuit of learning. I believe that Discovery Point Bethelview is the best child care center in the area! I want the management, our teachers, our families, and our children to take pride in being part of such an amazing daycare center.
I am dedicated to child care. In fact, I have been honored by a two-time election as President of the Georgia Childcare Association, which represents 800+ childcare providers in Georgia.
I work collaboratively with the Department of Early Care and Learning, the Governor’s office, and the Legislature to help raise the quality of child care services in Georgia,
I have been married to my wife, Lora, for over 25 years and have 3 teenage children. I have somewhat of an eclectic educational background, with a degree in Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. It only took me 20 years in the corporate world to come to my senses and pursue the right occupation!
